Ten things: A football nerd’s guide to the 2020 New York Giants

The New York Giants are one of four teams that will go into this season with a new head coach, a new offensive coordinator and a new defensive coordinator.

After two uninspiring seasons with Pat Shurmur that netted nine wins, the organization hired Joe Judge, previously a special teams/wide receivers coach with the New England Patriots. Dave Gettleman is in his third year as the general manager, and the expectation should be that the team shows some signs of progress this season. The Giants have had a winning record just once in the last seven years. The last time they won the division was 2011.
